Théo WEYMERSKIRCH was born in Mühlenbach (Eich). His father’s occupation was Tagelöhner. The latter died in 1892.
In 1895 Théo’s occupation was Tabakarbeiter (?). He resided in his parental home in Weimerskirch.
Théo later obtained an engineering degree and joined the steelworks of Differdange. In 1925 he carried the title of Betriebschef des Stahlwerkes, Differdingen (chef de service).
He resided first in Differdange (rue de l’Acier 3) and in 1928 he moved to Luxembourg-city (place Joseph II).
In the 1950s he resided in boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte 67.
He was a very creative engineer who obtained patents for a total of 25 inventions, made between 1920 and 1934.
WEYMERSKIRCH died in Luxembourg-city in 1977, at the age of 95. He was married twice but had no children.
