WÜRTH Mathias

Mathias WÜRTH was born in 1870 in Altlinster.

His father Johann WÜRTH (Schmied) was born in 1830 in Junglinster. He was married to Magdalena DICKES.

In the tradition of the family, going back at least to 1800, Mathias also became a Schmied in Altlinster, probably in his father’s atelier. So did his younger brother Franz (b. 1879).

Mathias and Franz built and patented an accessory for a plough in 1903. They gave it the name “Mignon”.

It is not known when and where Mathias died. He probably never married.
