Nicolas RUF was born in 1882 in Hautcharage, son of an Arbeiter born in Trier.
He became Schlosser and resided in Bascharage.
In 1906 he married Marie RIES in Ettelbruck. The couple RUF-RIES settled in Ettelbruck.
Nicolas RUF died in Luxembourg-city in 1924.
