Heinrich MORITZ was a Kaufmann who resided in Luxembourg-city.
In 1911 MORITZ bought the retail shop “Commissionshalle, Soldes modernes, G. Jung”, located in 5 rue Saint Nicolas and changed its name to “Commissionshalle, Soldes modernes, Henri Moritz”.
In 1916 MORITZ bought the house “Ebus” at 10 rue du Saint Esprit and transferred the “Commissionshalle” to this address in 1917. He changed the name of the shop to “Magasin H. Moritz” in 1921.
In 1923 he started a new venture with André LECUIT (mécanicien):
Etablissement de recaoutchoutage et de vulcanisation moderne par les procédés « Fit », Lecuit et Moritz
The company dissolved shortly afterwards in 1924.
In 1926 MORITZ sold the contents of his house in rue du Saint Esprit “wegen Abreise”.
He presumably left Luxembourg.
