KILL Nicolas

Jean Nicolas KILL was born in Merl in 1874. His father’s occupation was Gastwirth.
Nicolas became a Blechschmied. In 1896 he married Marie KALTÉ in Bascharage. Marie was born in Deiffelt (Clervaux). Her father’s occupation was Schreiner.
The couple settled in Bascharage and had 3 children. Nicolas added Eisenhandlung to his Klempnerei services.
In 1932, however, his business ran into financial difficulties and Nicolas had to apply for a “concordat préventif de faillite”.
Nicolas KILL died in 1939 in Bascharage.
