JANSON Peter Adam

Peter Adam JANSON was born in 1858 in Rödersheim (Rheinland-Pfalz). In 1879 he married Maria Eva OSTERMAYER in Rödersheim and must have immigrated to Luxembourg soon after. The couple’s first child was born in Luxembourg-city (10 Dreifaltigkeitsgasse) in 1882, and in 1883 the second child was born in Esch sur Alzette. JANSON’s occupation was Cigarrenmacher.
According to the birth date of the third child, the family was residing by 1886 in Rollingergrund, where JANSON established his cigar manufacturing site.
JANSON’s cigar making entreprise is well documented.
It would appear that JANSON emigrated to Brazil in 1921 and that his youngest son Johann JANSON (b. 1894 in Rollingergrund) emigrated as well to Brazil.
Peter Adam JANSON died in Brazil.
