DAUBENFELD Joseph

Joseph DAUBENFELD was born in Reckange/Mersch in 1884. In 1900 he trained to become a Maschinenschlosser. He finally became an Elektrotechniker.
In 1908 he married Barbara SOISSON, born in Lorentzweiler. The couple settled in Esch sur Alzette. Joseph first associated with Johann Baptist HARPES (1918) and later with Evrard GOEBBELS (1922). The latter partnership was dissolved in 1923.
In 1938 Joseph sold his business premises in Esch sur Alzette (81-83 rue Victor Hugo), and probably retired.
Joseph DAUBENFELD died in 1971 in Esch sur Alzette.
