BIEWESCH-KAYSER Peter
Peter BIEWESCH was born in 1881 in Clausen. His father was a Gärtner.
In 1908 he married Susanne KAYSER (born in Noertrange). At the time, he resided in Clausen and his occupation was Schreiner. The couple settled in Hollerich, first in Bahnhofsgasse 90 (1909), subsequently in Gasperich 12 (1911).
In 1917 Peter BIEWESCH and Albert SIEGEN founded the company “Albert Siegen & Cie”:
…elle a pour objet la fabrication de briques poreuses ainsi que le commerce et la représentation de produits céramiques
In 1918, however, the partners split up: SIEGEN continued the Plattengeschäft part and BIWESCH the Ziegelei part of the joint venture.
Peter BIEWESCH-KAISER advertised in 1919 a Wandziegelfabrik which he had established in Bonnevoie (rue du Laboratoire).
BIEWESCH died in 1946 in Bonnevoie (rue du Laboratoire 36).
His son Jos BIEWESCH (b. 1911) carried on the business.
