ARENDT Charles

Johann Karl Wenzeslaus ARENDT was born on 15 March 1825 in Vianden, son of a Gerichtsvollzieher.
He studied architecture in Brussels and Munich and, in 1850, became architecte de district in Grevenmacher.
In 1854 he married Barbara LESSEL, born in Grevenmacher in 1833. The couple had 6 children.
After Barbara’s death in 1869 Charles married her sister Elise LESSEL in 1871.
