Nicolas DELVAUX was born in Altrier/Bech. His father was a Hufschmied.
In 1911 he married Marguerite HAUSEMER, born in Nospelt, daughter of an Ackerer. At the time Nicolas DELVAUX was living in Steinfort and his occupation was Hufschmied/Schlossermeister.
He was joined by his younger brother, called Nicolas as well (1882 – 1962), who also was a Schlossermeister.
In 1914 Nicolas DELVAUX (the younger) married Barbara SCHARLÉ in Steinfort.
