DE ROÏBOUL Michel
Michel DE ROÏBOUL was born on 8 November 1897 in Moscow. He left Russia in 1918 without passport and became a “refugee”. He was an engineer.
In the 1920s he made two important inventions which he patented and licensed.
In April 1924 he founded a company by the name of “Société de Roïboul et Cie, fabrique de creusets”. The company, however, went bankrupt in September 1925.
DE ROÏBOUL lived in Paris up to 1931 after which he came to Luxembourg. He resided in 52 rue d’Anvers in Luxembourg-city.
In April 1935 the Luxembourg authorities did not renew his residency permit and paid him (and his mother) a ticket to travel by boat from Antwerp to Buenos Aires. DE ROÏBOUL settled eventually in Paraguay.
During his stay in Luxembourg he obtained two Luxembourg patents in 1933.
It is not known when and where he died.
