BERNARD Emil

Jacob Emil BERNARD was born in 1880 in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg. His father’s occupation was Commis bei der Postverwaltung.
According to the 1895 Luxembourg-city Census he resided for a while in Reims (FR) for “Studien”. He became a Geschäftsvertreter.
In 1913 he married Maria Catharina BRUCK, daughter of Jean Pierre BRUCK, Administrator der Strafanstalten. The couple settled in Luxembourg-city (Münstergasse) but moved later (1917) to 7 Arlonerstrasse and finally to 89 Äusserer Ring (1923).
Emil BERNARD died in 1967 in Luxembourg-city.
