Maurice Michel LEVY was born on 1861 in Luxembourg-city (Aldringen-Gasse 3). He was the son of Seligmann LEVY and Zélie FRANCFORT. His father’s occupation was Pferdehändler.

The couple had one child, a son named Pierre, born in 1894 in Luxembourg-city (Bädergasse). He qualified as engineer in Aachen in 1916.
In 1941 Pierre LEVY emigrated to the U.S.A.
Maurice LEVY died in February 1944 in the concentration camp of Terezin (Theresienstadt).
