MARCHAL Louis Amédée

(1887 - 1964)

MARCHAL was born in Longwy.
He became sténographe dactylographe and married Marie PARISON. The couple had two children born 1912 resp. 1913 in Pont-Saint-Vincent (Meurthe et Moselle).
During WWI MARCHAL served in the French military forces.
After 1918 he still resided in Meurthe et Moselle until 1936 when he moved to Brussels.
In 1937 he took up residence in Luxembourg for about a couple of years. During his presence in Luxembourg he made three inventions as evidenced by his three Luxembourg patents.
In 1939 he went back to France and finally settled in Maisons Laffitte (Seine et Oise) where he died in 1964.)
MARCHAL’s successives places of residence, according to his patents, were the following:

1937-1938 Luxembourg
1939-1942 Angers (Maine et Loire)
1943-1951 Seine et Oise
