BIEWESCH Joseph

Josef Karl Bernard BIEWESCH was born in 1911 in Hollerich (Gasperich No 12).
His father, Peter BIEWESCH, was initially a Schreiner, and in 1918 set up a Ziegelfabrik in Bonnevoie.
Joseph grew up with the Bonnevoie factory, and probably later joined his father. He took over the factory in 1946, at his father’s death.
By that time the factory produced “blocs creux en béton.”
Joseph BIEWESCH died in 1993 in Luxembourg-city.
