CAPÉSIUS-KIEFFER Nicolas

Nicolas CAPÉSIUS was born in 1877 in Pfaffenthal (28 Leinweberstrasse). His father Michel CAPÉSIUS was a Wagner.
In November 1900 Nicolas married Maria Barbara KIEFFER, daughter of a Schlosser; she was also born in Pfaffenthal (29 Vaubangasse). Nicolas’ occupation was Drechsler-Meister. The couple took up residence in Luxembourg-Oberstadt (rue Bourbon 10).
Around 1904 the family CAPÉSIUS-KIEFFER moved to Hollerich (Bonnewegerstrasse).
By 1916 Nicolas CAPÉSIUS had established a Holzwarenfabrik in Bonnevoie (rue du Laboratoire 15).
He died in 1921 in Hollerich at the age of 44. His wife and his son Michel (b. 1902) assured the continuation of the family business:
