HOFFMANN Arthur

Arthur Wilhelm HOFFMANN was born in Bonnevoie/Hollerich. His parents were of German origin and came to Luxembourg around 1878. They came with their six boys. Arthur was their seventh boy and was born in Luxembourg (Bonnevoie) in 1879.
Arthur’s father’s occupation was Uhrmacher. The family resided in Bahnhof-Avenue 17.
Arthur also became Uhrmacher and married Anna SEYWERT (Näherin) in 1906. He probably worked in his father’s enterprise.
In 1910, however, he took over Café Metropole in Bonnevoie.
It is not known when and where Arthur HOFFMANN died.
