GROSGES Nicolas

Nicolas GROSGES was born in 1878 in Bettembourg. His father’s occupation was Metzger.
GROSGES was educated at the Gymnasium in Luxembourg-city and resided in the Convict. He obtained his baccalaureate in 1898 and qualified as engineer in Louvain in 1903.
He joined the “Chemins de fer Prince Henri” in Pétange and became its chef d’atelier.
In 1907 he married Marie Jeanne BUNGERT in Arlon. Sometime between 1910 and 1920 GROSGES took up an engineering assignment in the Belgian Congo.
As of 1920 he resided in Brussels as industriel.
Nicolas GROSGES died in Brussels in 1937.
