SCHNEIDER Jean
Jean SCHNEIDER’s father Peter SCHNEIDER (1857-1945) was a Klempnermeister in Wasserbillig. He was married to Anna KLEIN (1855-1923). The couple had eleven children, Jean being the eldest.
He was born in 1881 and followed in his father’s footsteps to become also a Klempner.
He married Marguerite CLASEN and spent all his life in Wasserbillig. Over the years he acted as Unternehmer, Handelsvertreter, Bauunternehmer, Holzhändler, Kohlenhändler ….
In 1937 he registered a commercial company with the following objects:
Entreprise de constructions, commerce de matériaux de constructions, de charbons et de combustibles, exploitation de sablières
Jean SCHNEIDER died in Wasserbillig in 1950. He had no children and his company “Jean Schneider-Clasen” was taken over by the company HOFFMANN-SCHWALL in September 1951.
