KUSCHMANN Charles

Peter Carl KUSCHMANN was born in 1863 in Luxembourg-city (3 Louvigny-Gasse). His father was a Schuhmacher.
In May 1890 he married Anna Maria FOUGNARD, born in Gemünden (DE). His occupation was Dekorationsmaler. In June 1890 the couple left Luxembourg for Köln (arbeitshalber).
They returned to Luxembourg in 1895.
Around 1903 Charles KUSCHMANN opened an Horlogerie-Bijouterie in Luxembourg-city (1 rue du Fossé).
In 1905, however, he transferred his business to Jules SCHWENDER. He became an insurance agent.
In 1920 Charles KUSCHMANN took up his activity as clock/watch repairer again and announced the opening of a repair service in 38 Philippstrasse. He carried on in parallel his activities as insurance agent.
In 1923 he transferred his repair service address to 11 place Guillaume. He resided in 17 avenue Monterey.
It is not known when and where he died. He probably had no children.
